Health is balls, comic isn’t dead
UPDATE: Going to try and get a page done this weekend, guys!
Hey folks, just a quick note that we will not be stopping the comic. It’s on a bit of hiatus. Between the end of the school year and change of living situations for Ben and the possibility of my mystery illness being fibromyalgia, it’s been a little crazy.
If anyone has any fan art or fan comics they’d like to submit, please email it to me (sarah@paintthefence.com) or Ben (ben@beyond-rapture.com) and we’ll get it posted!
UPDATE: Had doc appointment today and got painful fibromyalgia test done. Seems to be pretty certain that’s what’s been plaguing me for the last year. Now that I have a diagnosis, my doctor and I can begin working on managing it. Means the next 3-6 months could be hell adjusting and tweaking medication and monthly doctor visits. Again, I deeply appreciate the wonderful support and words of encouragement and we work through this.
Fibromyalgia sucks balls. Just don’t lose your optimism, it’s a lot harder to live with it if you are pessimistic all the time.
Yeah, no kidding. I am doing my best to be positive. Mostly I’m glad to have a diagnosis. Can take steps forward now.
Ahhh! That great moment of “At least we know what the blazes it is!”… it usually brings a sense of relief and excitement…. soon followed by “OK what do we do about it and can it be stopped?”
Good luck with the med balancing and keep your chin up, eyes forward and your hand always prepared to give the world the ‘bird’ it deserves!
